Golf
Golf is the main attraction at La Manga Club... and for good reason! For the third time in five years, La Manga Club was voted Europe's top golf resort, according to Hertz International Golf Travel Awards. The resort proudly holds three championship golf courses - the South Course, the North Course, and the West Course. In addition to these full 18 hole, world-class courses, La Manga Club also has top-notch training facilities and a Par 47 pitch and putt course.
In addition to providing the best golf facilities in Europe, La Manga Club also features some of the best instruction to its members and guests. The Golf Academy is led by PGA qualified instructors, who teach three-hour clinics in the mornings from Monday to Friday. The Golf Academy is perfect for any age or skill level, and the pros teach all aspects of the game in a fun and relaxed way. Some of the topics covered in these clinics are long game, short game, putting, swing techniques, grips, and club selection. In addition, everyone who enters the Golf Academy will receive video analysis and breakdown in order to elevate their future rounds.
La Manga Club also offers weekly tournaments every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. There is a small entry fee of €4 to get into these tournaments, but they offer more of a competitive flair to an otherwise relaxing stay at the resort. Monday Four Ball Better Ball Stableford, Wednesday is Medal, and Friday is the Individual Stableford. The prizes for these competitions are La Manga Club vouchers. The resort also hosts several other key tournaments throughout the year, and in the past, it has hosted the Spanish Open and the PGA Spanish Championship.
The pricing options for the club vary depending on membership, time played, and age. There is a 40% Junior Golfer discount on all the courses as well. If you want to book a round of golf, make sure to call before your stay at La Manga Club to book in advance since the courses are in such high demand.
