West Course
Villa Harlequin is a uniquely styled, spacious luxury villa set in extensive secure grounds right in the heart of La Manga Club. Perfectly positioned for easy access to the resort’s world-class golf courses and other facilities, it offers an excellent base for families and groups of friends seeking a comfortable and memorable golf-focused getaway.
The West Course is the third outstanding 18-hole layout at La Manga Club in Murcia, Spain. It sits in a unique setting surrounded by dense pine forest at the foot of the Calblanque Natural Park.
Hilly and undulating, the West Course winds through natural terrain with frequent elevation changes, making it a strategic and scenic challenge. It plays as a par 72 and measures approximately 5,770 metres (around 6,310 yards) from the white tees.
While the South Course is the longest championship test and the North is more accessible, the West Course is often described as the most demanding shot-maker’s layout. It features tight fairways, natural storm gullies (barrancas), narrow driving lines on the front nine, and even tighter holes on the hilly back nine with blind shots and winding ravines.
Golfers praise its beautiful surroundings, mature trees framing the holes, fast greens, and stunning views. It rewards accuracy and course management rather than pure length, offering a memorable and testing round in a peaceful natural reserve environment.
